Welcome to BingeCalc. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect basic information required to provide our service: your email address and display name (facilitated via Google Firebase Authentication). We also store your watchlists, tracking progress, and daily plans in our secure database to sync your experience across all your devices.

2. Third-Party Services & APIs

We use external APIs such as TMDB (The Movie Database) and Jikan (MyAnimeList API) to fetch images, titles, and descriptions. These services may collect basic analytics data based on API requests (such as your IP address at the time of the request). We do not share your personal account information with these APIs.

3. Data Security

Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase, which complies with industry-standard security protocols. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. If you wish to completely remove your data and account from our servers, you can contact us at hello@bingecalc.co and we will process your request within 30 days.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the BingeCalc website (the "Service") operated by BingeCalc ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service.

3. Intellectual Property and Data Sources

BingeCalc provides a tracking and calculation tool. The metadata, images, and synopses related to TV shows, movies, and manga are provided by third-party services including TMDB (The Movie Database) and Jikan API. BingeCalc does not claim ownership over these images or data. BingeCalc is not endorsed by or affiliated with TMDB or MyAnimeList.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall BingeCalc, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

5. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
